# 🔔 | Messages

> Display a message on screen with your own text.

## Syntax

```lua theme={null}
OxpherAPI.Message.Type(text, duration)
```

## Parameters

* `Type`: `Success`, `Notification`, `Warning` or `Error`
* `text` (string): the message to display
* `duration` (number, optional): time on screen in milliseconds. Leave it out for the default.

## Returns

Nothing.

## Examples

```lua theme={null}
OxpherAPI.Message.Success("working properly n allat")

OxpherAPI.Message.Notification("neegy nearby")

OxpherAPI.Message.Warning("admin might see you do this", 8000) -- will display for 8 seconds

OxpherAPI.Message.Error("that did not work")
```
